Twelve visits a year, at least one a month, with a written report after each. That is the minimum the regulations require. We make each one count.
What you get from each visit
- Time with the childrenPrivate conversations with young people about how they are, what works for them, and what they would change.
- A look at the whole homeRecords, the building, staffing, and the atmosphere in the house on an ordinary day, announced or unannounced as you prefer.
- A clear written reportDelivered promptly, written in plain English, with findings on safeguarding and wellbeing and specific, realistic recommendations.
- Follow-throughWe track what happened to last month's recommendations so progress is visible to you, your Responsible Individual, and Ofsted.
Reports that stand up to inspection
Ofsted reads Regulation 44 reports closely. Inspectors want to see an independent person who challenges, notices, and follows up. A report that says "all fine" every month tells them very little.
Ours are specific. They name what is going well, what needs attention, and what the home has done about it since the last visit.
See what we cover"The point of the visit is not to catch anyone out. It is to make sure the children living here are safe, heard, and doing well, and to say so in writing." Our approach, in one sentence
Working with homes across Kent
Based in Kent, we visit homes from Dartford to Dover and everywhere in between. Single homes, small groups and larger providers are all welcome.
